Museum of Design Atlanta

The Challenge:
MODA had recently moved into a gorgeous new space in midtown directly across from the High museum, but nobody seemed to notice.  They also had a new exhibit opening. But with very little budget, they didn’t know how to promote themselves or the new exhibit.

The Solution:
Keep an event or spectacle that would get press. We came up with a big idea where the midtown area along Peachtree Road and MODA’s own terrace was literally invaded by hundreds and hundreds of iconic rubber ducks.

The Results:
News crews from the biggest local tv stations showed up to cover the duck invasion. Radio DJs mentioned it on air. It went social as blogs covered it and Facebook began to buzz with photos and comments. And most importantly of all, thousands of office workers in the midtown Atlanta area now know that Museum of Design Atlanta is their neighbor.
